Subject:Chinese Gilt Bronze figure of a seated bear
Posted By: George Bain Mon, Apr 09, 2018 IP: 2a02:c7d:5667:b200:b

Hello

i am trying to research this Chinese figure, the most similar items i can find all date to the Western Han dynasty, but i would appreciate other opinions on my item as i just cant believe it is that old!, it has many similarities, such as the swirls representing fur and the lines on the tail with a bear that sold at Christies, linked below.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

many thanks

George
